These include data silos. It is particularly important not to keep products in isolated data silos, but to bring them together in a global database &#8211; ideally in a product information management system (PIM) in order to make this data consistently usable.  <\/p>\n<p>Further difficulties lie in the logic of numbering and the logic of data creation. In the aftermarket, this naturally functions according to different aspects than with original equipment data.
